I know I’ve mentioned this before but I’m a total TV addict. Reality TV, Dramas, Comedies — I love them all. It seems most of the networks are into their fall programming and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t tell you how many weeknights during the summer I complained about NOTHING being on TV. You would think I’d use the summer to pick up a new hobby or maybe a book but NOPE — I still managed to find something to watch.
This week I’ve been so excited to watch a bunch of new shows! On Wednesday night, one of my FAVORITE dramas is back. Nashville. I can’t wait to see what they do with this season. I’m sure it will be filled with drama and some scandal. Sounds like perfection to me!

Lemon White Chocolate Krispies Treats have a burst of citrus flavor which pairs nicely with the sweetness from the marshmallows. I made these Wednesday afternoon so I would have a tasty no bake dessert to eat while watching Nashville…. well, I ate a couple krispies treats while taking photos, a few more while writing this post and then one more while making dinner…. by the time Nashville is ready to air, I’ll be lucky if there are any left! Lemon White Chocolate Krispies Treats are so good – be ready to eat more than one!
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 10 ounce marshmallows
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
- 6 cups rice cereal
- Cooking spray
- 4 ounces chopped premium white chocolate
- Melt butter and marshmallows over medium-low heat. Stir lemon rind into melted marshmallows. Add cereal. Stir well to combine. Press cereal mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan coated with cooking spray.
- Heat white chocolate in microwave at HIGH 1 1/2 minutes or until melted, stirring every 20 seconds; drizzle over cereal mixture. Refrigerate for 15 minutes before slicing.
